2007-2008 Spelling Bee Information:
We continue to host the European-wide Spelling Bee, and send the winner off to compete in the National Scripps-Howard Spelling Bee.
Please see the information below for some important changes to the spelling bee this year:
- New Operational Plan, revised overview
- Individual schools who wish to participate must register with Scripps by OCTOBER 15, 2007. Registration can be completed at the National Spelling Bee website: www.spellingbee.com
- November 16, 2007: deadline for unit in good standing
- November 21, 2007: deadline for Registration/Entry form for European Spelling Bee. Must be typed and sent to Mary.Wilson@eu.dodea.edu
- Local Spelling Bees must be completed before February 1, 2008
- February 1, 2008: deadline for units to submit local winner/runner-up information. Must be typed and sent to Mary.Wilson@eu.dodea.edu
