The European PTA Board of Directors are composed of the Executive board, the District Representatives, and the Program Chairs and Advisors.

All positions on the European PTA board are a one-year term, or commitment, for volunteers from throughout Europe. Delegates to our annual state PTA convention elect volunteers to fill our executive board and district representative positions every year.

Delegates from European PTA, local PTAs and PTSAs elect all positions on the executive board during the annual convention. Those who are elected to positions on the executive board may serve a maximum of two consecutive one-year terms in the same position.

During the year, the European PTA president forms a nominating committee of board members, to make nomination recommendations for people to fill executive positions for the following year.

The board reviews and approves the recommendations from the nominating committee. During the convention, the nominating committee announces their report of one nomination for each executive board position. The president then allows convention delegates to make nominations from the convention floor to run against the committee nominations.
