Scholarships
Our scholarships program chair works with our chairs for public relations, newsletter, and webmaster, as well as with our office manager to publicize the annual scholarships available to top performers at European PTA and member local unit schools. In addition, our scholarships program chair works with our sponsorship chair to ensure that we have meaningful material recognition along with cash or scholarship awards from sponsors.
After reviewing all applications for required information, our scholarships program chair assembles a panel and provides criteria for choosing winners to the panel. Our scholarships program chair presents recommendations from the panel to the board for final approval, and then makes the actual awards presentations, along with associated sponsors, at our convention banquet.
Our scholarship chairperson is Helen Kay Vohar.
