EPTA Award Program
Our European PTA award program remains very popular,
with annual award categories for the top DoDDS-Europe educators. The awards
program also allows local PTA and PTSA units to recognize their own with the
annual awards for top volunteers and top PTA or PTSA units. Last but not least,
the Linda S. Resch Reading Award, named for a former European PTA president who
founded the program, goes to the PTA or PTSA that conducts the most outstanding
reading program in their school.
Do you have an outstanding PTA you would like everyone to know about? A super reading program? A volunteer who goes above and beyond? A teacher you feel needs to be recognized?
Here is your chance!!
Enclosed are the applications for the Teacher of the Year, Unit of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and the Linda S. Reich Reading Award. All you have to do is follow the directions carefully and get your applications post-marked by March 17, 2010. You can enter more than one educator or volunteer if you are blessed with many outstanding people in your community. Please mail your entries to the EPTA Office, faxed applications will not be accepted. Get started now documenting all the wonderful things your PTA has been doing all year. All winners will be honored at the EPTA Convention Banquet in May. Each winner (volunteer/educator) or President/Designee (unit, reading) will receive 1 night’s stay at Edelweiss.
